Lydia Jean Martinez has received her Master’s degree from a CAA accredited university, is a Texas licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and has achieved a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
The ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is a nationally recognized professional credential that represents a level of excellence in the field of Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Those who have achieved the CCC—ASHA certification—have voluntarily met rigorous academic and professional standards, typically going beyond the minimum requirements for state licensure. They have the knowledge, skills, and expertise to provide high quality clinical services, and they actively engage in ongoing professional development to keep their certification current.

Lydia is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS). She combines her expertise in oral motor development with specialized lactation training to support optimal breastfeeding experiences for families.

When she’s not caring for her patients, Lydia loves reading, painting, and discovering new places and foods with her husband, son, and German Shepherd.
